We will celebrate midsummer!
There is room for everyone who wants to come!
Everyone should bring their own picnic and blanket to sit on, and a dessert to share; strawberries, cake or something similar. Bring games to play outside.
There is also a BBQ available to us to use.
After the picnic and refreshments, we will have traditional dance around the maypole. Bring your leaves and flowers, which we can use to dress the maypole and make wreaths!
Should there be rain, we can celebrate in the hall.
Cost: Free for members who have paid the annual fee for the 2018-2019 academic year. Accompanying guests and alumni will need to pay a flat fee of £5 per family, to be paid at the coffee break.
Volunteers: Singing, dancing and playing games with the children are all part of the traditional Midsummer celebrations but we will need volunteers to organise it.
